Join us as Director and Choreographer Jenny Mitchell discusses the iconic 1960’s era, the rehearsal process, and what it’s been like getting to work with an all-female cast.
Jenny has a BFA in Theatre Performance from Wichita State University and has performed in, choreographed and directed productions for Roxy’s Downtown, Music Theatre Wichita, The Crown Uptown, Mosley Street Melodrama, Center for the Arts, Music Theatre for Young People, Wichita Children’s among many others. In 2010, Jenny founded and serves as Executive Director for the Laughing Feet Performers which is a non-profit theatre company for performers with Special Needs that gives performance opportunities to those who would not normally have them. Laughing Feet is currently in its 13th year and celebrates approximately 60+ performers each year with an outreach into the community that touches thousands of participants, families and audience members each year. You can next see Jenny performing in La Cage aux Folles over the summer at Roxy’s Downtown.
